Night Troupe in Ludibrium guide
Don't miss the best progression event of the year!
The Night Troupe event is back, and if you’re a MapleStory player who’s serious about leveling up, you don’t want to miss this opportunity. The event offers you daily rewards in the form of Troupe Coins, which are used to purchase upgrades that significantly boost your experience gain and progression. With some smart planning and grinding, you can really milk this event for all it’s worth—especially with the right strategy. Here’s the breakdown.
How to Maximize Your Troupe Coins and Rank Up
The core mechanic of the event is to gather Troupe Points by completing activities like defeating monsters, playing mini-games, and running Punch King (PK). Your points get converted into Troupe Coins (100 points = 1 coin), and the cap is 300 coins per day. Punch King specifically is one of the top ways to grind points, but let’s be real—most players will only average 1,000 points per day, not the theoretical max of 1,100. So expect to earn 10 coins per run from PK.
But where should you be spending these hard-earned coins? Here’s a step-by-step guide.
Junior Rank (October 9–15)
Days 1–6
You’re earning 300 coins per day, giving you 1,800 cumulative coins by Day 6.
On Day 3, invest 900 coins in EXP Increase M1, your first upgrade to boost experience gained from monster kills. Trust me, this will make a noticeable difference in your grinding speed.
Day 7
By this point, you should have 2,100 cumulative coins, which is perfect to buy Combo Kill & Rune Duration M1 and M2 for 1,850 coins. These upgrades will make your combo kills and rune buffs last longer, meaning more efficient EXP grinding.
Senior Rank (October 16–22)
Days 8–10
You’re still hitting that 300 coins per day cap, so by Day 10, you’ll have around 3,000 cumulative coins. Time to pick up EXP Increase M2 for 950 coins, the next boost in your experience gain path.
Day 12:
You should be sitting on around 4,000 coins at this point. Take the plunge and grab the Monster Park Clear EXP Increase for 1,000 coins. Monster Park is one of the best ways to grind experience, so this upgrade will really pay off.
Veteran Rank (October 23–31)
Day 16 (October 23):
You’ve now got enough coins (**5,300 cumulative coins**) to buy EXP Increase M3 for 1,000 coins, adding another layer to your EXP boosting capabilities.
Follow it up with Arcane/Sacred Symbol Increase M1 for 1,050 coins. If you’re working your way through Arcane River, this upgrade will help boost your Arcane Force and let you tackle tougher enemies for more rewards.
Day 17 (October 24):
Now, get Arcane/Sacred Symbol Increase M2 for another 1,050 coins. Continue building up your Arcane Force for late-game content.
Master Rank (November 1–10)
Day 25 (November 3):
By now, you should have around 9,000 coins saved up. Time to max out your EXP gain with EXP Increase M4 for 1,000 coins. The last EXP boost will make your training sessions super efficient.
Also, pick up Arcane/Sacred Symbol Increase M3 for 2,100 coins. This final Arcane Symbol upgrade is critical for surviving and thriving in endgame content.
Day 26–30:
With your major EXP and Symbol upgrades done, focus on Boss Damage Increase for 1,000 coins. This upgrade will help if you’re running bosses for loot and progression.
Final Stage (November 11–19)
By this stage, you should have most of your upgrades in place. Use the remaining days to either catch up on any upgrades you might have missed or buy smaller boosts like Inferno Wolf buffs to add some extra efficiency to your grinding.
